While on spring break most of us were looking for someway to hack into the control box. Since we couldn't find any kind of wire to plug into the control box and our computer we tried to find a wiring diagram. We contacted the company that makes the control box but they said that they would not give out wiring diagrams. We found a team from CSUN that did a project in 1991 with the same wheelchair and control box we are using. So we contacted them and asked them to send us the project details. They sent the whole project file to us almost immediately. We got two more control boxes so we gave one to the school Networking teacher and asked him to look at the control box and find out where to put the cable that will connect the wheel chair to a RC controller. Once we have the wheel chair connected to the RC controller it will be easy to connect it to a computer and then let it drive by itself. We are also going to put a car seat on the wheelchair so we can sit on it and test it.
