Team 99 Qualifies for World!


Team 99 took first place at the High Desert Vex Round Up Competition in Hesperia, CA yesterday. Therefore team 99 has qualified for the VEX World Championships in Orlando, FL. Terrier robotics had an amazing day with all 3 teams reaching the semi finals, but unfortunately our 99B and 99C team were allied together, and faced the 99 team allied with the 563B team in the semi finals and 99B, and 99C were then eliminated from competition. We would also like to congratulate team 563B who accepted our request to alliance with our team 99 in the elimination tournament after qualifying rounds. Team 563B also earned the title of tournament champion along with team 99. We would like to congratulate all teams who made it to finals as well as the other two Redlands High Teams who had a very strong showing.

Competition Info for this Saturday


The three Redlands High School Robotics Teams are entered in the High Desert Vex Round Up Championship, taking place at Sultana High School this Saturday (Nov 13). Tomorrow we will be having a final practice as well as finishing last minute things, on the robots. We will also be adding our sponsors logos onto the robots, and creating our team T-Shirts. We look forward to competition with all local teams we face, and wish the best of luck to all in competition. We will be leaving RHS at approximately 7:00AM arriving before 8:00AM at Sultana High School in Hesperia, CA. Come out and support your Redlands High School Terriers.

Getting Ready for Competition


All three teams have now completed the building stage of the robots, and programming for user control has also been completed. The teams are now practicing driving and operation controls and fixing last minute problems. We will be competing in two weeks at Sultana High School, Saturday, November 13 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Team 99 will be using the new VEX Cortex Microcontroller as well as two VEXnet Joysticks to operate the robot. Team 99B will be using the VEXnet upgrade bundle on the 75MHz Transmitter & Receiver, and Team 99C will be operating their robot with the 75MHz Transmitter & Receiver.
