Clubs on the Mall

This Last Wednesday Redlands High School had a shortened day and students were released at 11:33. The Terrier Robotics Varsity team took the time to design and build a robot for the clubs on the mall in addition to our two proto-bots, and our Prototype Round-Up Robot. In less than five hours the four varsity members, (Sven, Erik, Tad, and Kyle) built a robot. The Robots basic design was a cage with a top cover that opened with the pneumatics, creating a mouth, and had eyes and a nose on top of the cage. The robot was created with two bumper switches, (one to shut motors off, and one to fire pneumatics). It also had four other motors for the drive system. The pneumatics system consisted of two air tanks and two firing pistons on each side. The robot was programmed by Sven Blaser, and put on display later that night for the Clubs on the Mall which occurred during the Redlands High School Open House. We were very joyed to have interest in the club from fellow students, parents, teachers, and administration. Thanks for your Support. - 2010-2011 Varsity Team
